The official visit at the building site of the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre „Dojo-Stara Wies”
On 12 May (Monday), after the Seminar with Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama in Poland there was the official visit at the building site of the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre "Dojo-Stara Wies" with participation of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama – Chairman of the International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF).
In the visit there also participated: Steve Nakada – Chief Advisor to Sensei Nishiyama and representatives of national traditional karate federations from Armenia, France, Italy, Russia and Poland. In the official meeting in Stara Wies participated also representatives of the Office of the Przedborz City and contractors for building work.
Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski – Chairman of the Traditional Karate Federation of Poland took all the guests for the sightseeing. "Dojo – Stara Wies" will be a unique centre, which will give an opportunity of comprehensive training and mixing with the spirit, climate and philosophy of the Japanese martial arts.
Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski said that the Dojo in Stara Wies is being built thanks to inspiration of Sensei Nishiyama. "Dojo – Stara Wies" will serve as the World Educational Budo Centre under the patronage of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama.
The official opening of the centre is planned for 2009. We would like to host that ceremony together with the jubilee of the 90th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Japan.
