The International Traditional Karate Seminar – sensei Avi Rokah
Sensei Avi Rokah held the International Traditional Karate Seminar in the Japanese Martial Arts and Sport Centre ‘Dojo – Stara Wies’ in Stara Wies (Poland) on May 9-11. The seminar was the continuation of the seminars conducted annually by Nishiyama Sensei in Poland since 1992.
300 persons from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA and Poland participated in the seminar. The seminar was coordinated by Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski 7 Dan ITKF – coach of the traditional karate national team of Poland and Chairman of the Traditional Karate Federation of Poland.
The subject of the training among others were kata Tekki Sandan and kata Hangetsu.
During the seminar Sensei Nelson Carrion – ITKF General Secretary, introduced the Traditional Karate Do Institute to preserve, promote and develop Traditional Karate as a way of Education.
