In the European Cup start the athletes appointed by the Technical Committee of the International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF). Competitions are set by the individual cup system. 8 players and 8 female players start in the technical events (kitei, kata) and in close combat – they must demonstrate a comprehensive technical preparation. European Cup competitions are held every two years.
