Prime Minister awarded with the Honorary Black Belt
On 26 April 2004 Mr. Leszek Miller – Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland was awarded with the Honorary Black Belt bestowed by Hidetaka Nishiyama – Chairman of International Traditional Karate Federation.
The Prime Minister received that prestigious award for supporting traditional karate in Poland. Till now many activities of Traditional Karate Federation of Poland have been held under the auspices of the Prime Minister Leszek Miller, e.g. Traditional Karate European Cup 2002 (Lodz, Poland) and Traditional Karate World Cup Prokom 2003 (Warsaw, Poland). Both tournaments finished with great success of Polish competitors, who wojn the highest trophies.
The official awarding was held by the Management Board of Traditional Karate Federation of Poland: Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski – Chairman, Pawel Krzywanski – Vice-President, Ryszard Czeslaw Debski – Board Member.
