Polish team on the special training session in Los Angeles
A Polish karate team with Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski – Chairman of Traditional Karate Federation of Poland had a special training session in the ITKF Central Dojo in Los Angeles supervised by Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama. Our team also participated in the trainins conducted by Sensei Avi Rokah 6 Dan in his Karate Academy in LA. The first group with world champions in team kumite from 1992 (Montreal, Canada): Wojciech Kaminski, Andrzej Maciejewski, Krzysztof Naugebauer and Jacek Wierzbicki practised in The Central Dojo (27 January – 10 February).
Second group was in Los Angeles between 10-24 February 2007: Mariusz Lewandowski, Witold Kwiecinski, Marta Niewczas, Jerzy Szczachor, Andrzej Zarzeczny.
On 21 February 2007 in Central Dojo Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski passed the exam for master grade 7 Dan and Sensei Jerzy Szachor passed the exam for master grade 4 Dan.
During the stay our team two very important official appointments were held: with Kazuo Kodama – Consul General, Consulate General of Japan, Los Angeles and with Michael D. Antonovich – Supervisor, Fifth District, Mayor County of Los Angeles.
