ITKF Master’s Course & Technical Qualifikation Camp and Gasshuku 2012
The ITKF Master’s Course & Technical Qualification Camp and Gasshuku 2012 took place on August 14-19, 2012 at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre 'Dojo – Stara Wies’ (Poland).
It was the third time the summer edition of the ITKF Master’s Course & Technical Qualification Camp took place in Poland. The seminar gathered 300 participants from 13 countries: Armenia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Israel, Japan, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Poland.
The focus of this year’s ITKF Program was the preparation and pre-selection of Judges for the XVI ITKF World Championships to be held in Lodz, Poland, October 6 & 7, 2012. Examinations took place for all levels of international certification of ITKF qualifications.
The ITKF Master’s Course & Technical Qualification Camp was conducted by outstanding instructors of traditional karate:
- Sensei Richard Jorgensen (Canada) 7 Dan ITKF – President of the International Traditional Karate Federation, Chairman of the ITKF Technical Committee, Pan American Technical Committee and Technical Director, Canadian Traditional Karate Federation, ITKF qualified instructor, judge and examiner;
- Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski (Poland) 7 Dan ITKF – Vice-President of the International (ITKF) and the European (ETKF) Traditional Karate Federation, Chairman of the Traditional Karate Federation of Poland, member of the ITKF Technical Committee, ITKF qualified instructor, judge and examiner;
- Members of the ITKF Technical Committee: Sensei Eligio Contraelli (Italy) 7 Dan ITKF and Sensei Dan Stuparu (Romania) 7 Dan ITKF.
Gasshuku instructors were:
- Sensei Krzysztof Neugebauer (Poland) 5 Dan ITKF – coach of the national senior team;
- Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski (Poland) 7 Dan ITKF – Gasshuku coordinator.
On Saturday, August 19, ITKF Goodwill Karate Tournament was conducted.
