International Traditional Karate Seminar in the Dojo – Stara Wies

Sensei Avi Rokah held the International Traditional Karate Seminar in the Japanese Martial Arts and Sport Centre ‘Dojo – Stara Wies’ in Stara Wies (Poland) on May 6-8 May. The seminar was the continuation of the seminars conducted annually by Nishiyama Sensei in Poland since 1992.
210 persons from Czech Republic, Lithuania, Russia, United Kingdom, USA and Poland participated in the seminar.
Sensei Avi Rokah said: The atmosphere was amazing; true learning atmosphere and true love for karate. I was teaching Hangetsu and Tekki Sandan, and through those katas showing movement and combat principles, which we than applied to kumite.
The final tournament of the Traditional Karate League of Poland 2011 was held in Dojo – Stara Wies on May 7. The best Polish athletes, both men and women, competed during the League (more). The top two men and two women will participate in the 6th Traditional Karate ITKF World Cup on June 11 in Gdynia (Poland).
