The Gasshuku 2016 and WTKF International Summer Camp took place at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sport Centre ‘Dojo – Stara Wies’ in Poland on August 16-21. The seminar gathered 320 participants from 15 countries: Armenia, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Uzbekistan and Poland.
The trainings were conducted by Albert Cheah Sensei (USA), Mahmoud Tabassi Sensei (USA), Nelson Carrion Sensei (Uruguay) and Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski Sensei (Poland).
INSTRUCTORS:
ALBERT CHEAH Sensei (USA)
Founder and chief instructor of Orange County Japan Karate Association, the oldest traditional karate dojo in Orange County, California. Sensei Cheah has trained in traditional Shotokan
karate for over 35 years under the tutelage of Sensei Nishiyama. He is a seven-time AAKF National Champion, and also an instructor, judge, and member of the AAKF Technical Committee.
MAHMOUD TABASSI Sensei (USA)
Vicepresident of the World Traditional Karate-Do Federation (WTKF), Vice-Chairman of Senior Council, Member of Senior Advisory Committee of the American Amateur Karate Federation (AAKF)
NELSON CARRION Sensei (Uruguay)
Member of the WTKF Board of Directors (General Secretary), General Director and instructor of the Traditional Karate Do Institute (TKI), founder of a few national traditional karate federations in the world, e.g. in Uruguay, Morocco, France.
