Gasshuku 2007, Gdansk, Poland
The annual International Traditional Karate Seminar Gasshuku 2007 was held on 14-19 August 2007 in Gdansk (Poland). The seminar gathered 380 participants from Poland and abroad: Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, The United States of America and Ukraine.
This-year Gasshuku was held by the world’s top Traditional Karate Masters: Sensei Robert Fusaro 7 Dan (USA) – legendary instructor of traditional karate, first foreign student of Japan Karate Association, Sensei Avi Rokah 6 Dan from Los Angeles (USA) – assistant of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, Justo Gomez 5 Dan (Argentina) – repeated ITKF world champion in kumite and fuku-go and Nelson Carrion 5 Dan (France). Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski 7 Dan – coach of the national team of Poland, Vice-President of European Traditional Karate Federation was the chief coordinator of the seminar.
During Gasshuku the final matches of the annual Traditional Karate League of Poland 2007 took place. The League is a competition among the best Polish athletes, both in men’s and women’s category. Below are te results of the Traditional Karate League of Poland 2007:
