GASSHUKU 2005 TRADITIONAL KARATE LEAGUE OF POLAND 2005
The annual International Traditional Karate Seminar Gasshuku 2005 was held on 16-21 August 2005 in Cracow (Poland). The seminar gathered almost 300 participants from Poland and abroad, namely from Argentina, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and the United States.
This-year Gasshuku was held by the world’s top Traditional Karate Masters: Sensei Avi Rokah 6 Dan from Los Angeles (USA) – assistant of Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, Justo Gomez 5 Dan (Argentina) – repeated ITKF world champion in kumite and fuku-go. For the first we hosted in Poland Taichiro Kaijima 3 Dan (Japan) – ITKF registered instructor, U.S. champion in kata, fuku-go and team kumite. Sensei W^(3)odzimierz Kwiecin~ski 6 Dan – coach of the national team of Poland was the chief coordinator of the seminar.
On 20 August did final matches of Traditional Karate League of Poland 2005 take place. The tournament took place in beautiful surrounding of the Royal Castle in Niepolomice, on its courtyard. National League was the elimination system for Polish men and women competitors to the 3rd Traditional Karate World Cup, which will be held on 15 October 2005 in Warsaw (Poland). The tournament was held according to the World Cup system. Below are te results of the Traditional Karate League of Poland 2005:
