2002 International Traditional Karate Camp in San Diego
"The ITKF International Camp, recognized worldwide for its high-quality instruction in Traditional Karate techniques and training methods, focuses on applying the true principles of Budo to all facets of training, coaching and competition judging. Ensuring the distinction between Traditional Karate and General Karate has become increasingly important as General Karate adopts the rules of Tae Kwon Do. Therefore this year’s Summer Camp will focus on the historical origins of Budo and their application to Traditional Karate, as well as the methods and systems that most effectively convey the principles of Budo in dojo training and competition. Camp participants will have the unique opportunity to share the valuable skills and knowledge attained through training with the first-rate coaches and athletes from around the world."
