15th Traditional Karate ITKF World Championship
12-13 November 2010, Curitiba, Brazil

The national team of Poland achieved a success during 15th Traditional Karate ITKF World Championship! Polish athletes brought 7 medals (1 golden, 4 silvers and 2 bronzes).

Daniel Iwanek defended the title of the world champion, winning a gold medal in individual kumite.
The silver was won by Pawel Janusz in men’s individual kata and by Maria Depta and Damian Stasiak in en-bu woman/man. Both Polish kata teams won also silver medals. The Polish female fighters included: Malgorzata Baranowska, Barbara Marciniak and Justyna Marciniak and the men’s kata team was composed of: Michal Janusz, Pawel Janusz and Rafal Wajda.
A kumite team composed of: Bartosz Chyrek, Daniel Iwanek, Damian Tomasik and Lukasz Wojcik won the bronze medal. The bronze was won also by Tomasz Jonczyk and Bartosz Skwarski in en-bu man/man.
